To all those naysayers who've nitpicked this bad-ass creator's masterpiece bit by bit...screw you! Nice going, with your damn insults and near-perfect expectations. Just like that jackass who almost got Megaman Ultra 2 cancelled...

To the creator, I, for one, felt your third demo was excellent. The time and effort you put into MMForever was unbelievable. You even said yourself it wasn't 100%, but that's to be expected (because it's a demo). All the stage layouts, unique weapons, all new RMs...you've set the bar so high for romhacking nowadays.

With that said, I understand your position and respect it. Just want to let you know...at least there's one person out there who wants to shake your hand (and give yourself a pat on the back, while you're at it). This is one hell of an accomplishment. And take care, my man.

I was really looking forward to seeing this finished completely. The level ideas are great, the bosses are creative, the weapons are mostly new, there is a shop where you can.

I knew since it was a demo it some things still have room for improvement, but it was still fun to play through because the work put in it was evident. It has some things that made it different from other extensive hacks do not have like stage effects that are in Boil Man's stage and the majority of Propel Man's stage, Chrono Man's main gimmicks, Wing Man's gimmicks, and the design of the all of the stages made.

Again, I really wanted to see this finished, I hope you start on this project again to finish it after all the work that was put in so far, but it is understandable how the nitpicking can discourage you from finishing, especially when the effort goes unnoticed.

I'm sorry you had to cancel the game because of people showing disappointment instead of giving critique on how to improve the hack or even comments on what they like the most.

Do not do it. Think about the people you support. Life has its ups and downs, and those who criticize jealous because they can not create a homhacks.
Show your superiority to these haters and continue with the project.
But I respect your opinion. That God enlighten you.

After all the work you´ve admitedly said you have done, it is truly a shame that you have cancelled what seems to be the best Rom Hack for Mega Man ever created, even if it´s unfinished.
Still, many people understand your decision and will respect it. Again, the demo is magnificent, but it really bugs me that after so much effort you just give up like that. I have done the same in a similar situation, and now I regret it deeply. It isn´t too late to change your mind though; and crown yourself as the best rom hacker for the Mega Man series. Even better than IKA with his No Constancy.

I heard your real life is not going so well either. Just have to keep on going forward no matter what is going or how painful the current situation or the imminent situation is.

May be easy to say and most definitely hard to, but you must never let things get you down, especially for a long time.

Damn, that's a shame. I was really looking forward to this romhack, despite its difficulty and the bugs that needed to be worked out. Don't let the blatant haters get to you and as for the haters with ACTUAL criticisms, follow some of their advice. I hope you eventually come back to finish this. It would be a damn shame to see all of your hard work go to waste.

its cool man. this rom hack is amazing and watching it progress was a blast. in my mind, I feel that this gets so close to feeling like an original MM game its compared to the original 6 and not just a rom hack, hence why you only get negative reception

Hello my friend, like the other guy i'm brazillian too. I saw your great efforts from scratch to do this hack, but man, don't do this, don't give up.

Think about it, when we do those things we aways will have some idiot fools badmouthing about those efforts (sorry for my crap english, but i writting to show you my respect and begging you to don't give up, believe, it's a challenge to me write english).

The fact is: some ppl can't apreciate the genius and effort from other good people.

To share the source files is something i could do. But before i do that or whatever, i want to do some improvements on it which i am actually motivated to do.

Well, when you talk about that's not being the reason, maybe you're talking about the other guys posting something about you having some problems on personal life, that's can be the reason too, right? Well, if that's the case, that's completelly understandeable also. If even i can give some "moral suport"(not sure if i wrote correctlly ^^, but i hope you understand), tell me and i send some mail contacts. I'm not a Romhacker in fact, but i have some idea about how difficult and challenging is to do a Romhack, because i saw my friend doing some "basic things".

That's the spirit my friend, make those improvements, don't worry about time or idiots wich don't know about sense of efforts and hard work discourage you.

And a last thing: while you do those imporvemments, you can do some of those on Ice stage? i think that's the offshore fortress ( i saw this name on the other demo) Epic music there my friend.

Hi, im from Spain. Im follow this hack since 2007 and i beat this DEMO 3 without save states, and the experiencie is incredible. I love this Megaman Forever Demo 3. Thanks for this man. Incredible work.

We all depended on this hack, now it was cancelled, boo, at least Megaman Unlimited is getting close to a release (a FULL release that is).....

I myself am making a Megaman fangame called Megaman Forever (name subject to probably change), not a hack, but a Game Maker game made with the Megaman Engine

Someday, this game will come back, I have high hopes for this, I'm not asking to take over the production of the hack, but I COULD take it over, unfortunatly, I will have to wait until I am FAR better at hacking, for now, when it comes to hacking, I have to stick with only Pokemon Ruby (the only game I am capable at hacking), since I SUCK at Hex editing and ASM.....

i saw this video, i said,"wow, where is the patch for this one!?". I found this site and there, i waited all my life to

WTF is wrong with all of you putting down such an incredible hack.

This hack from what i've seen has exceeded far beyond any expectations i've ever had with megaman. This is something even my grandkids could even love. I am not releasing who i am. but i will say that this game is so dear to me it's almost hard to want to play because of all the awesome work that got put into it.

To start off, i like the option screen that allows you to pick and choose the level you want to play, including wily's levels, I like that x4's stage music gets put into the stage select screen. I also love the graphics that was set up to be put into here. And i've seem some ASM in my time, but this really could go so far as to be deemed the best it's ever been.

I love that it's a challenging game because it forces me to want to play it untill i get a megaman game or hack right.

the best part i think is the warning screens. that really puts a huge update into the works of any nes megaman game. I really love this game so much.

Shame on you all for the horrible comments you made to make poor matrix127 cancell his project like that, you out to all be ashamed of yourselves. I know a friend who came close to cancelling mm ultra 2 one time and they all thought he was a stocker turned out they all made the wrong assumption. But this is even worse. All you that said these things should just cancell your accounts all together and just pick up another interest. MM forever will always remain the best work i've ever seen in a mm game

oh another thing, to the gentlemen up top who thinks this so-called Jack ass almost got ultra 2 cancelled. that issue to my understanding has been resolved for some time, and that every comment that was made on that including the creator was false and un-called for. i would suggest leaving this gentlemen alone, the more positive comments we have, the better hacks we'll get. So please just leave that issue alone. from my understand this happened well over a year ago and it's by-gones and doesn't need to be mentioned again.

i noticed that when you beat megaman clone at wily stage 1 nothing happens

since you already made the levels and bosses, why dont you fix that and make a final release

p.d: to get into megaman clone just use h.dasher before falling at the end, if you lose, game over, and for some reason the game freezes when you get game over at wily stage

I just played through demo 3 and I have to say that this hack is goddamn fantastic. It's perfect. It's fun, original and exactly difficult enough. And I completely respect your decision to stop working on it. But you should release the source code so that someone can fix the glitchy graphics and connect the wily stages :)

Um, the fact is the creator didn't receive much 'constructive criticism'...people just bashed the crap out of his hack without offering much help to improve it.

From what I've gathered from not only YT comments and other places, people were bitching about how the RMs and Weapons were unoriginal and stupid (w/o any helpful advice), this game wasn't on the level of R4MI, some of the content was taken too much from other games (even though R4MI took from all the NES MM games AND the GB games, but no one said jack about that), and other generic complaints. Also, the creator has his reasons for parting with the project.

Maybe you should do your research before running your mouth like an ass.

I think that people probably like your hack more than you think. This hack is way better than any other mega man hack, and I've played them all. The thing that sets it way above the rest imo is your original ideas, and every single weapon is awesome. In fact, is there some way I can patch all the other hacks with your weapons? That'd be sweet.

Anyways, why don't you have people rate your hack, or maybe we can create a petition and show you how many people love the hack like I do. Also, is there no one knowledgeable with hacks that's willing to help you complete the project? I'm sure there's at least a few.

Doing some kind of rating or petition .. lets say i don't have a good feeling about it. I already realize a lot of people actually like it and want more.. so that isn't the problem. I just don't want to finish it.

For now, i'm going to hold onto the project and not give it away. If and when i release a bugfix release, i might release the source publically for whoever wants to attempt to continue it or study it or w/e.

Well I happen to be someone who was really looking forward to this hack. The fact that this hack was made mostly from all original ideas is what made this the best Mega Man hack Ive ever seen and I dont really understand how anyone could have anyhting bad to say about it. Regardless of negative comments you might of gotten on your project, I dont think you should let it get to you because the ammount of progress you made and the time and effort youve dedicated to this project should not go to waste on account of some negative fans.
